Why Minor in History at PBA?
A history minor is a valuable addition to any major. Studying history can help you learn how to think critically about historical events, a skill that can be useful in any career.
Studying history can broaden your worldview as you learn about other cultures, traditions, and ways of thinking. History minors often apply their knowledge in careers like business, law, government, politics, and journalism.
You’ll start by learning about the main political, economic, and social developments from the European discovery of America through the Civil War and Reconstruction. You can customize your minor to fit your personal interests and career goals by choosing from 24 elective courses.
